Traditionally, outdoor speakers are quite similar in appearance to their indoor counterparts. Traditional outdoor speaker solutions are typically not used with a subwoofer and rarely deploy enough channels to cover an area evenly. By applying our decades of experience in designing world class speakers for inside the home, we genuinely believe we have helped bridge that gap.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eOutdoor Living satellites use high-performance aluminum dome tweeters with specially designed, wide-dispersion “phase alignment” technology that helps evenly project sound throughout the yard. These proprietary tweeters are coupled with a 4\" weather-resistant woofer designed for both high performance and long life outside in the elements.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eTo fill out the sound, the in-ground subwoofer uses a high-output, water-resistant 8\" driver inside an HDPE enclosure (the same material used for underground water systems) for worry-free operation. The subwoofer is designed to be discreet, with only the “mushroom cap” hood visible above ground. This hood evenly distributes bass, protects the woofer from the elements, and provides a constant flow of fresh air.
