Denon DCD-900NE CD Player with AL32 Processing
The Denon DCD-900NE brings the acclaimed AL32 Processing Plus technology and DAC Master Clock design to an accessible, beautifully engineered CD player. With support for hi-res audio files up to 192kHz/24-bit and DSD 2.8/5.6MHz via USB, Pure Direct Mode for a clean signal path, and a vibration-resistant chassis, the DCD-900NE reveals the highest quality audio from every disc and digital source.
Key Features
- Advanced AL32 Processing Plus: Data interpolation algorithms with up-sampling and bit-extension support high-resolution audio for playback that is highly detailed, free of interference, and beautifully faithful to the original recording.
- DAC Master Clock Design: The DAC acts as master for all clock signals, with the master clock positioned immediately adjacent to the DAC to suppress jitter and ensure optimal D/A conversion precision.
- Hi-Res Audio Support: Decodes FLAC, ALAC, and WAV lossless files up to 192kHz/24-bit, plus DSD 2.8MHz and 5.6MHz (the audiophile format of SACD) via USB.
- USB Input: Front-panel USB-A port for direct playback of hi-res audio files from a USB storage device.
- Pure Direct Mode: Turns off the display and digital outputs to minimise interference, delivering clean, detailed, and accurate audio output.
- Vibration-Resistant Design: Power transformer positioned low and close to the insulators to reduce chassis vibration and preserve sound quality.
- Minimised Signal Path: Circuit patterns engineered for the shortest possible signal paths to reduce interference and maximise transparency.

Caring for your Speakers and Amplifiers
To Keep your equipment safe these are some best practices to note. Please be advised that this is only to reduce the risk of misuse and is not an exhaustive list.
Speakers
- Speaker terminals are marked red and black, ensure your amplifier to the speakers are wired on the same colours
- Ensure no loose speaker wire from the red touches a loose wire from the black as this will lead to a short circuit and damage either the speaker, the amplifier or both.
- Not all speakers are designed to play at max volume, kindly consider the pairing of your amplifier and speakers
- Speaker cabinets cannot be replaced please handle with care.
AV & Stereo Amplifiers
- If your amplifier has HDMI ports, ensure all devices are off before plugging in the HDMI cable
- Turn off the amplifier before swoping out or adding speaker cable
- Amplifiers generate heat, place them in a well ventilated space. if possible avoid having anything on top of the unit.
- adding a surge protector can assist with power dips which are likely to damage your devices. Isotek and Furman are industry standard.
- Dusty environments can sometimes lead to accumulation of dust in the electronic components that might affect heat regulation
Shipping & Returns
- Free shipping on orders over R500 within the country.
- Standard delivery within 2–5 business days. Delays will be communicated. This might vary slightly depending on your location.
- Return items in original condition for a full refund. (unopened state)
