AudioQuest NRG Hurricane C13 Power Cable -2m
The AudioQuest NRG Hurricane is AudioQuest's flagship high-current power cable, engineered to deliver the cleanest possible AC power to your most demanding components — power amplifiers, integrated amplifiers, and high-current source components. By eliminating noise and distortion at the power delivery stage, the Hurricane allows your equipment to perform at its absolute potential.
Key Features
- Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) Conductors — Three conductors (Live, Neutral, Earth) of solid PSC+; the ultra-smooth surface nearly eliminates grain-boundary distortion and harshness compared to standard OFC or stranded copper
- Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation System — All three conductors are covered with Carbon-Loaded Polyethylene, dramatically reducing RF and EMI noise from being conducted into your components and fed back into the mains
- High-Current Geometry — Conductor gauge and geometry optimised for high-current delivery, ensuring your amplifier receives full, uncompressed power on dynamic peaks
- IEC C15 Termination — High-temperature IEC C15 connector (rated to 120°C) for compatibility with amplifiers and components that run hot; superior contact pressure vs standard C13
- Cold-Welded Connections — Solder-free terminations at both ends for a pure metal-to-metal connection with no coloration from solder alloys
- Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation — Low-loss insulation minimises energy absorption and dielectric-involvement distortion
- Direction-Controlled Conductors — Each conductor is controlled for directionality during manufacture, ensuring optimal signal flow from source to component

Caring for your Speakers and Amplifiers
To Keep your equipment safe these are some best practices to note. Please be advised that this is only to reduce the risk of misuse and is not an exhaustive list.
Speakers
- Speaker terminals are marked red and black, ensure your amplifier to the speakers are wired on the same colours
- Ensure no loose speaker wire from the red touches a loose wire from the black as this will lead to a short circuit and damage either the speaker, the amplifier or both.
- Not all speakers are designed to play at max volume, kindly consider the pairing of your amplifier and speakers
- Speaker cabinets cannot be replaced please handle with care.
AV & Stereo Amplifiers
- If your amplifier has HDMI ports, ensure all devices are off before plugging in the HDMI cable
- Turn off the amplifier before swoping out or adding speaker cable
- Amplifiers generate heat, place them in a well ventilated space. if possible avoid having anything on top of the unit.
- adding a surge protector can assist with power dips which are likely to damage your devices. Isotek and Furman are industry standard.
- Dusty environments can sometimes lead to accumulation of dust in the electronic components that might affect heat regulation
