AudioQuest Cinnamon 48Gbps HDMI Cable
Ultra High Speed 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 Cable - 8K/10K Performance
Sound first. While 8K and other compelling video/gaming features make the HDMI headlines, AudioQuest's 48 and eARC-Priority Series HDMI cables are the best-sounding HDMI cables yet. The greater precision and tighter manufacturing tolerances required to deliver HDMI cables that transfer up to 48Gbps bandwidth mean all of AudioQuest's tried-and-true ingredients and techniques matter every bit as much as ever before.
Cinnamon 48 features 1.25% Silver-Plated Copper conductors that have been direction-controlled for the most efficient dissipation of radio-frequency noise. A metal-layer shield is placed around the 4 FRL + eARC pairs to further enhance noise-dissipation.
Key Features & Specifications
- 48Gbps Bandwidth: Transfer up to professional 10K Ultra-HD video with 48Gbps bandwidth made possible by 4 balanced audio/video pairs capable of 12Gbps each
- 8K/10K Video Support: Full bandwidth for video resolutions up to 10K and resolutions/refresh rates up to 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz. Completely backwards compatible with existing 4K displays
- 1.25% Silver-Plated Copper Conductors: Thick layers of silver plating applied to AudioQuest's Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors improve Noise-Dissipation. Superior metal on the outside of the conductor produces the greatest benefit on overall performance
- Level 3 Noise-Dissipation: Carbon + Metal + Direction-Controlled technology. All 19 conductors are Direction-Controlled to minimize RF Noise. High-loss carbon layer sandwiched between layers of metal around the 4 FRL + eARC pairs for enhanced noise-dissipation
- Enhanced eARC Performance: 1.25% Silver + Level-2 Noise Dissipation on eARC conductors for superior audio quality. Supports uncompressed and lossless high-resolution multichannel audio including Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio, and DTS:X
- Direction-Controlled Conductors: All 19 conductors minimize RF Noise by directing or draining it away from the most vulnerable circuits
- Advanced Shielding: Metal-layer shield around 4 FRL + eARC pairs guards against Wi-Fi, cellular, and satellite radiation interference
- HDMI 2.1 Certified: Full Ultra High Speed HDMI certification with 48Gbps bandwidth

Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC)
Because sound matters, the eARC conductors in AudioQuest's 48-Series HDMI cables receive equal attention, featuring the same superior metals, Direction-Controlled Conductors, and Noise-Dissipation technologies as the main AV data pairs. HDMI's Audio Return Channel (ARC) sends audio from a TV to a soundbar or AV receiver for greater simplicity and flexibility in system setup.
Today's HDMI 2.1 hardware supports enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC), which increases the digital bandwidth dramatically to support uncompressed and lossless high-resolution multichannel audio, including Dolby TrueHD and Atmos, and DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS:X.
Perfect For
- 8K and 10K displays requiring maximum bandwidth
- 4K TVs and projectors with 120Hz refresh rate support
- Home theater systems with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X soundbars or AV receivers
- Next-generation gaming consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X) for 4K/120Hz gaming
- Streaming devices and media players with HDMI 2.1
- Audiophiles seeking superior sound quality from HDMI connections

Caring for your Speakers and Amplifiers
To Keep your equipment safe these are some best practices to note. Please be advised that this is only to reduce the risk of misuse and is not an exhaustive list.
Speakers
- Speaker terminals are marked red and black, ensure your amplifier to the speakers are wired on the same colours
- Ensure no loose speaker wire from the red touches a loose wire from the black as this will lead to a short circuit and damage either the speaker, the amplifier or both.
- Not all speakers are designed to play at max volume, kindly consider the pairing of your amplifier and speakers
- Speaker cabinets cannot be replaced please handle with care.
AV & Stereo Amplifiers
- If your amplifier has HDMI ports, ensure all devices are off before plugging in the HDMI cable
- Turn off the amplifier before swoping out or adding speaker cable
- Amplifiers generate heat, place them in a well ventilated space. if possible avoid having anything on top of the unit.
- adding a surge protector can assist with power dips which are likely to damage your devices. Isotek and Furman are industry standard.
- Dusty environments can sometimes lead to accumulation of dust in the electronic components that might affect heat regulation
