Stop leaks in a minute or less.
Only cutting-edge Rachio Wireless Flow Meter technology monitors outdoor water-use, halts costly leaks and protects your landscape from damage.
Reveal the true picture of your outdoor water use.
Revolutionary Wireless Flow Meter technology pairs seamlessly with Rachio 3 and the Rachio App to uncover patterns or problems in the pipes below.
Stop Leaks
The Rachio Wireless Flow Meter detects leaks with highly-accurate Vortex technology and instantly alerts at the first sign of trouble. If a high-flow leak is identified, Rachio removes the affected zone from queue, continuing the rest of the watering schedule as usual.
Measure with Accuracy
In-app calibration measures each watering zone to establish a baseline flow rate, optimizing reporting accuracy and making it easy to identify leaks and anomalies.
Identify Flow Problems
Clogged sprinkler heads and invasive root growth can can constrict pipes and cause weak flow rates. Low-flow alerts uncover issues long before your grass begins to wilt.
How the Wireless Flow Meter Works.
Install the Wireless Flow Meter between your backflow preventer and valve box, then it will automatically pair with the Rachio 3 Smart Sprinkler Controller.
As you water each zone, the Wireless Flow Meter learns the baseline flow rate. If a leak is detected, Rachio will protect your landscape by sending an instant alert and shutting down only the affected zone.
Watch over your water with Vortex technology.
State-of-the-art Vortex technology measures flow rates with accuracy - down to the gallon per zone. Designed with no moving parts, this streamlined technology withstands winterization and continuous use without maintenance or repair.
Professional installation recommended.
The Rachio Wireless Flow Meter is compatible with most irrigation systems; however, pipe size and material, installation location and more can affect installation requirements. Professional installation will get you up and running in no time!

Caring for your Speakers and Amplifiers
To Keep your equipment safe these are some best practices to note. Please be advised that this is only to reduce the risk of misuse and is not an exhaustive list.
Speakers
- Speaker terminals are marked red and black, ensure your amplifier to the speakers are wired on the same colours
- Ensure no loose speaker wire from the red touches a loose wire from the black as this will lead to a short circuit and damage either the speaker, the amplifier or both.
- Not all speakers are designed to play at max volume, kindly consider the pairing of your amplifier and speakers
- Speaker cabinets cannot be replaced please handle with care.
AV & Stereo Amplifiers
- If your amplifier has HDMI ports, ensure all devices are off before plugging in the HDMI cable
- Turn off the amplifier before swoping out or adding speaker cable
- Amplifiers generate heat, place them in a well ventilated space. if possible avoid having anything on top of the unit.
- adding a surge protector can assist with power dips which are likely to damage your devices. Isotek and Furman are industry standard.
- Dusty environments can sometimes lead to accumulation of dust in the electronic components that might affect heat regulation
