Performance & Technology
The EH-QL3000B represents the pinnacle of Epson's home cinema projector technology. Utilizing advanced 3LCD technology with a blue laser diode array, it delivers an extraordinary 10,000 lumens of both white and colour brightness. This ensures vibrant, accurate colours across the entire brightness range, eliminating the rainbow effect and colour brightness issues common in competing technologies.
The 4K PRO-UHD pixel-shifting technology displays 8.3 million distinct pixels on screen, providing exceptional detail when viewing native 4K content from streaming services, Ultra HD Blu-ray players, and professional media servers. Combined with HDR10 support and a dynamic contrast ratio of 2,500,000:1, the EH-QL3000B reproduces the full range of brightness and shadow detail in modern HDR content with cinema-grade accuracy.
Professional Installation Flexibility
The interchangeable lens system offers unparalleled installation flexibility with optional lenses covering throw ratios from 0.35:1 (ultra short throw) to 7.2:1 (long throw). Motorized lens shift provides extensive vertical (±67%) and horizontal (±30%) adjustment without image distortion, allowing perfect image alignment in any installation scenario.
The projector supports 360-degree installation in any orientation, making it ideal for creative applications including ceiling mounting, portrait orientation for vertical displays, and even floor-up projection. Edge blending and geometric correction capabilities enable multi-projector setups for ultra-wide screens, curved surfaces, and immersive environments.
Image Quality
With support for the DCI-P3 digital cinema colour space, the EH-QL3000B delivers colour accuracy that meets professional cinema standards. Epson's advanced image processing ensures smooth motion handling, precise colour reproduction, and exceptional detail in both bright highlights and deep shadows. The laser light source provides instant on/off capability and maintains consistent brightness and colour accuracy over its entire 20,000-hour lifespan.
Connectivity & Control
Professional-grade connectivity includes dual HDMI 2.0 inputs with HDCP 2.2 support, HDBaseT for long-distance signal transmission over Cat6 cable, 3G-SDI for broadcast-quality video, and comprehensive network control via Ethernet. Caring for your Speakers and Amplifiers
To Keep your equipment safe these are some best practices to note. Please be advised that this is only to reduce the risk of misuse and is not an exhaustive list.
Speakers
- Speaker terminals are marked red and black, ensure your amplifier to the speakers are wired on the same colours
- Ensure no loose speaker wire from the red touches a loose wire from the black as this will lead to a short circuit and damage either the speaker, the amplifier or both.
- Not all speakers are designed to play at max volume, kindly consider the pairing of your amplifier and speakers
- Speaker cabinets cannot be replaced please handle with care.
AV & Stereo Amplifiers
- If your amplifier has HDMI ports, ensure all devices are off before plugging in the HDMI cable
- Turn off the amplifier before swoping out or adding speaker cable
- Amplifiers generate heat, place them in a well ventilated space. if possible avoid having anything on top of the unit.
- adding a surge protector can assist with power dips which are likely to damage your devices. Isotek and Furman are industry standard.
- Dusty environments can sometimes lead to accumulation of dust in the electronic components that might affect heat regulation
