Your + in TV listening

Hear it all, enjoy it all. There is no great TV show that cannot be improved by great sound. Which is exactly why Sennheiser developed the Flex 5000.

This innovative audio product allows you to tailor the volume, the sound profile and even the speech intelligibility to your needs while using any wired headphone – virtually turning it into a wireless listening system. So, you can move freely while enjoying your TV sound. You are too experienced to take poor TV sound as a given: Intensify your listening. Add clarity and comfort to your TV sound, using your– or any other – wired headphone of your choice.

Your + in sound experience

The Flex 5000 empowers your wired headphones to give you a dramatically enhanced TV sound experience.

Want a better program? Zap. Want better sound? Get a Sennheiser.
Just plug them in and you are able to customize your audio according to your requirements, with a choice of three different hearing profiles, which deliver clearest speech and colorful music. And, of course, you can adjust the left and right volume for a pleasant and balanced sound.

Your + in freedom

Unleashing you from the ties of cables, the Flex 5000 gives you the freedom to move within a range of up to 30 m and have extra-long TV sessions, thanks to batteries with up to 12 hours of playing time.

Your + in speech intelligibility

The Flex 5000 features a unique Speech Intelligibility function that makes speech easier to understand at the push of a button. It dynamically reduces background noise, which is part of the TV audio but may interfere with the spoken word.

Your + in comfort and simplicity

Focus on the program, not on your device: The Flex 5000 does not only offer easy and intuitive handling. It also provides full compatibility with digital as well as analog TV outputs.

Your + in style

The Flex 5000 is a sleek and attractive transmitter/receiver set that makes a stylish yet subtle addition to every home entertainment system. The transmitter also serves as a smart docking station for the receiver that charges the durable integrated batteries.

Caring for your Speakers and Amplifiers

To Keep your equipment safe these are some best practices to note. Please be advised that this is only to reduce the risk of misuse and is not an exhaustive list.

Speakers

  • Speaker terminals are marked red and black, ensure your amplifier to the speakers are wired on the same colours
  • Ensure no loose speaker wire from the red touches a loose wire from the black as this will lead to a short circuit and damage either the speaker, the amplifier or both.
  • Not all speakers are designed to play at max volume, kindly consider the pairing of your amplifier and speakers
  • Speaker cabinets cannot be replaced please handle with care.

AV & Stereo Amplifiers

  • If your amplifier has HDMI ports, ensure all devices are off before plugging in the HDMI cable
  • Turn off the amplifier before swoping out or adding speaker cable
  • Amplifiers generate heat, place them in a well ventilated space. if  possible avoid having anything on top of the unit.
  • adding a surge protector can assist with power dips which are likely to damage your devices. Isotek and Furman are industry standard.
  • Dusty environments can sometimes lead to accumulation of dust in the electronic components that might affect heat regulation
