Streamer, DAC, CD player and analogue preamplifier in one. The DMP-A8 Master Edition Gen 2 takes everything in the DMP-A8 Gen 2 and adds an integrated CD drive, an R-2R analogue volume control, an octa-core processor and an external clock input – a complete digital front end in a single aerospace-grade aluminium chassis.
Flagship AKM DAC Architecture
The AK4191EQ handles digital processing while the AK4499EXEQ focuses purely on D/A conversion, so each stage of the signal path is optimised for precision. With AKM's Velvet Sound™ technology it plays FLAC, WAV, APE and more up to DSD512, delivering a quieter background, greater separation and natural vocals and imaging. Measured performance: THD+N 0.000075% and SNR/dynamic range of 129 dB from the XLR outputs.
R-2R Volume Control
A high-precision R-2R resistor ladder adjusts volume in the analogue domain, preserving dynamics and detail without the losses of digital attenuation. It works with a fully balanced preamp architecture and XLR/RCA analogue inputs for stable drive and precise control at any level.
Integrated CD Playback and Ripping
Eversolo's proprietary CD playback system is optimised for audio use, running quieter and more stably, with high-precision error correction that reduces read errors for more complete and accurate playback and ripping of your CD collection.

Caring for your Speakers and Amplifiers
To Keep your equipment safe these are some best practices to note. Please be advised that this is only to reduce the risk of misuse and is not an exhaustive list.
Speakers
- Speaker terminals are marked red and black, ensure your amplifier to the speakers are wired on the same colours
- Ensure no loose speaker wire from the red touches a loose wire from the black as this will lead to a short circuit and damage either the speaker, the amplifier or both.
- Not all speakers are designed to play at max volume, kindly consider the pairing of your amplifier and speakers
- Speaker cabinets cannot be replaced please handle with care.
AV & Stereo Amplifiers
- If your amplifier has HDMI ports, ensure all devices are off before plugging in the HDMI cable
- Turn off the amplifier before swoping out or adding speaker cable
- Amplifiers generate heat, place them in a well ventilated space. if possible avoid having anything on top of the unit.
- adding a surge protector can assist with power dips which are likely to damage your devices. Isotek and Furman are industry standard.
- Dusty environments can sometimes lead to accumulation of dust in the electronic components that might affect heat regulation
