Depth 212 Subwoofer
Depth 212 brings MartinLogan's flagship Depth Series technology to a more compact cabinet. Dual active 12-inch Carbon Aerocore woofers in a force-cancelling BalancedForce layout are powered by a 2,200W dynamic peak (1,100W RMS) Class-D amplifier and controlled by a 64-bit Vojtko DSP engine, delivering massive, precise bass with remarkably low distortion for high-end stereo and home cinema alike.
BalancedForce Woofer System
The two 12-inch woofers work in exact opposition, cancelling the forces that would otherwise set the cabinet vibrating. Free of cabinet resonance, the bass stays pure and articulate at any level and integrates seamlessly with reference-grade loudspeakers.
Carbon Aerocore Woofers
A tri-layer cone of carbon-fibre skin, rigid low-mass PMI foam core and fibreglass backing combines exceptional stiffness with very low weight, eliminating unwanted resonance. Triple venting and dual copper shorting rings further reduce distortion.
Concealed, Convection-Cooled Amplifier
The amplifier is fully concealed. Extruded aluminium rear trim acts as a heatsink, drawing in cool air and venting heat, while the inputs are tucked into the bottom rear edge for discreet cable routing.
64-bit Vojtko DSP and ARC Genesis
The 500MHz, 64-bit DSP manages performance in real time and supports Anthem Room Correction (ARC Genesis). A premium ARC calibration microphone, stand and cables are included for quick room calibration on a PC or Mac.
Vault-Like Cabinet
Variable-thickness walls from 1 to 3 inches, reinforced baffles and a central dividing wall make for an extremely inert enclosure, while integrated anti-vibration feet (carpet spikes included) reduce energy transfer into the floor and adjoining rooms.
Connectivity, Wireless and Control
XLR (stereo or LFE), RCA stereo and LFE, speaker-level inputs and an RCA sub output. A wireless receiver is built in and a transmitter is included. Fine-tune from your seat with the MartinLogan Subwoofer Control app, or use the concealed Touch Control Interface behind the backlit front logo.

Caring for your Speakers and Amplifiers
To Keep your equipment safe these are some best practices to note. Please be advised that this is only to reduce the risk of misuse and is not an exhaustive list.
Speakers
- Speaker terminals are marked red and black, ensure your amplifier to the speakers are wired on the same colours
- Ensure no loose speaker wire from the red touches a loose wire from the black as this will lead to a short circuit and damage either the speaker, the amplifier or both.
- Not all speakers are designed to play at max volume, kindly consider the pairing of your amplifier and speakers
- Speaker cabinets cannot be replaced please handle with care.
AV & Stereo Amplifiers
- If your amplifier has HDMI ports, ensure all devices are off before plugging in the HDMI cable
- Turn off the amplifier before swoping out or adding speaker cable
- Amplifiers generate heat, place them in a well ventilated space. if possible avoid having anything on top of the unit.
- adding a surge protector can assist with power dips which are likely to damage your devices. Isotek and Furman are industry standard.
- Dusty environments can sometimes lead to accumulation of dust in the electronic components that might affect heat regulation
