The IsoTek V5 Sigmas is a seven-way mains power cleaning component with three high-current and four medium-current outlets, each with its own dedicated clean power network. Priced and sold individually.
Description
Seven power cleaners in one box
Three high-current, low-impedance outlets rated at 16A use a lighter version of the V5 Titan's Direct-Coupled circuit for power amplifiers, subwoofers, active loudspeakers, TVs and projectors, while four medium-current outlets rated at 10A for source components use IsoTek's Adaptive Gating, which senses the connected load to deliver the ideal level of clean power. IsoTek quotes over 35% improved amperage and a 40% increase in current handling over its EVO3 predecessor. KERP ensures equal resistance to all outlets, and the internal wiring uses silver-plated Ohno Continuous Cast solid-core copper with an FEP helix creating a virtual air dielectric.
Power enters through a 16A IEC C20 inlet (100-240V / 50-60Hz), with up to 3'680W available from the high-current outlets at 230V. Instantaneous protection is rated at 121'500A via IsoTek's sequential and repeatable protection system, and a System Link outlet allows multiple units to be connected while maintaining a starred earth reference. IsoTek supplies the V5 Sigmas with its EVO3 Premier power cable (1.5m), and offers UK, EU, US, AU and CH outlet versions.

Caring for your Speakers and Amplifiers
To Keep your equipment safe these are some best practices to note. Please be advised that this is only to reduce the risk of misuse and is not an exhaustive list.
Speakers
- Speaker terminals are marked red and black, ensure your amplifier to the speakers are wired on the same colours
- Ensure no loose speaker wire from the red touches a loose wire from the black as this will lead to a short circuit and damage either the speaker, the amplifier or both.
- Not all speakers are designed to play at max volume, kindly consider the pairing of your amplifier and speakers
- Speaker cabinets cannot be replaced please handle with care.
AV & Stereo Amplifiers
- If your amplifier has HDMI ports, ensure all devices are off before plugging in the HDMI cable
- Turn off the amplifier before swoping out or adding speaker cable
- Amplifiers generate heat, place them in a well ventilated space. if possible avoid having anything on top of the unit.
- adding a surge protector can assist with power dips which are likely to damage your devices. Isotek and Furman are industry standard.
- Dusty environments can sometimes lead to accumulation of dust in the electronic components that might affect heat regulation
