Streamer, DAC and analogue preamplifier in one. The Eversolo DMP-A8 Gen 2 is a high-fidelity network music streamer built around a flagship AKM decoding architecture, a fully balanced preamplifier stage and Eversolo's redesigned 8.6-inch touchscreen interface.
Flagship AKM DAC Architecture
Digital processing and conversion are split across two dedicated chips – the AK4191EQ digital processor and the AK4499EXEQ DAC – so every stage of the signal path can be optimised for precision. With AKM's Velvet Sound™ technology it plays everything from FLAC, WAV and APE up to DSD512, with a quieter background, greater separation and more natural vocals and imaging. Measured performance: THD+N 0.000075% and SNR/dynamic range of 129 dB from the XLR outputs.
Fully Balanced Preamplifier
XLR and RCA analogue inputs feed a fully balanced preamp architecture that keeps drive stable and control precise at any volume level, so the DMP-A8 Gen 2 can sit at the heart of your system as its preamplifier.
Eversolo AuralEngine
Eversolo's proprietary multi-core USB audio processor supports DSD512 Native and PCM 768 kHz/32-bit, giving local music a direct signal path without the need for a computer. Internal electrical isolation keeps noise from external devices and digital circuitry away from the audio signal for clearer detail and layering.

Refined Design
The aerospace-grade aluminium chassis (388 × 265 × 88 mm) provides natural shielding against external interference as well as a premium finish. A smooth, damped rotary control handles volume, input and functions, and the redesigned UI turns the large display into an intuitive control centre.

Caring for your Speakers and Amplifiers
To Keep your equipment safe these are some best practices to note. Please be advised that this is only to reduce the risk of misuse and is not an exhaustive list.
Speakers
- Speaker terminals are marked red and black, ensure your amplifier to the speakers are wired on the same colours
- Ensure no loose speaker wire from the red touches a loose wire from the black as this will lead to a short circuit and damage either the speaker, the amplifier or both.
- Not all speakers are designed to play at max volume, kindly consider the pairing of your amplifier and speakers
- Speaker cabinets cannot be replaced please handle with care.
AV & Stereo Amplifiers
- If your amplifier has HDMI ports, ensure all devices are off before plugging in the HDMI cable
- Turn off the amplifier before swoping out or adding speaker cable
- Amplifiers generate heat, place them in a well ventilated space. if possible avoid having anything on top of the unit.
- adding a surge protector can assist with power dips which are likely to damage your devices. Isotek and Furman are industry standard.
- Dusty environments can sometimes lead to accumulation of dust in the electronic components that might affect heat regulation
