The ZH521ST is one of Optoma's most compact and hassle-free Full HD 1080p DuraCore laser projectors to date. Designed for maintenance-free continuous operation, this 5300 ISO lumen projector delivers powerful image performance with flexible installation features and extensive connectivity options in a sleek, compact form factor, up to 34% smaller than previous Optoma models.¹
To support Optoma’s commitment to sustainability, the ZH521ST cuts power consumption by up to 45% compared to Optoma’s lamp-based projectors.² Energy-saving DuraCore laser technology ensures a long product lifespan of up to 30,000 hours without the need for additional lamps, requires minimal maintenance, and is mercury-free, further lowering its carbon footprint.
With Optoma Management Suite (OMSC)™ you can also remotely manage this projector and other compatible devices with ease. This powerful cloud-based solution offers effortless control, real-time monitoring, and scheduling, helping to reduce downtime, streamline operations, and cut operating costs.
This latest model is also compatible with Optoma's new Smart Control App* for Android and iOS, several features can be managed without the need for a PC. Power on and off, adjust the volume, modify and set display modes and make image adjustments remotely via your smart phone.
Enhanced for golf simulation, this projector features a purpose-built throw ratio and curated golf sim picture modes. For a more immersive and true-to-life playing experience, Optoma has worked closely with colour experts at GSPro to develop a dedicated GSPro mode.⁴
Geared for conference rooms, boardrooms, and other corporate spaces, the ZH521ST has a short throw lens meaning it can be positioned less than half a metre from any wall. For ultimate convenience it comes with RJ45 and RS232 connection for monitoring and controlling and a built-in speaker.

Caring for your Speakers and Amplifiers
To Keep your equipment safe these are some best practices to note. Please be advised that this is only to reduce the risk of misuse and is not an exhaustive list.
Speakers
- Speaker terminals are marked red and black, ensure your amplifier to the speakers are wired on the same colours
- Ensure no loose speaker wire from the red touches a loose wire from the black as this will lead to a short circuit and damage either the speaker, the amplifier or both.
- Not all speakers are designed to play at max volume, kindly consider the pairing of your amplifier and speakers
- Speaker cabinets cannot be replaced please handle with care.
AV & Stereo Amplifiers
- If your amplifier has HDMI ports, ensure all devices are off before plugging in the HDMI cable
- Turn off the amplifier before swoping out or adding speaker cable
- Amplifiers generate heat, place them in a well ventilated space. if possible avoid having anything on top of the unit.
- adding a surge protector can assist with power dips which are likely to damage your devices. Isotek and Furman are industry standard.
- Dusty environments can sometimes lead to accumulation of dust in the electronic components that might affect heat regulation
